About Us

After several years participating in vendor events and craft sales I gained some insights and was of the opinion that there was a lot of value in these events beyond the obvious; making sales.

With the help of my husband, we organized the first Winterpeg Holiday Sale in 2018. We had a fantastic experience and met so many talented and friendly Manitobans. The magic of networking, and the rewards of making some great connections and memories left us feeling energized and grateful.

With the potential for all kinds of market and leisure events Winterpeg Events officially became a business in 2019. That year we organized two winter craft sales and met so many great local makers, bakers, artisans, and entrepreneurs.

We supported a local charity or non-profit at each of our events in some way or another. Doing some good, and giving back to community organizations is something we will continue to do.

Unfortunately the pandemic brought many unexpected challenges for business owners. I offered an online Christmas sale in 2020 to support our past partners and new participants. This was a good learning experience but just not the same as being together in person to shop and socialize. We turned our attention to our family for those years; we made good use of our social media platforms to share important news, helpful links, others’ events, and to support local businesses.

After a long hiatus, my hope is to organize a variety of friendly and personable workshops, markets, networking, and leisure opportunities that provide great value to all.
